Krista Kamper Bio Photo.jpg

As an experienced recruiter who also practiced law for more than two decades, Krista brings an especially relevant perspective to both sides of the hiring table. For attorneys, she is a trusted advisor who understands the professional and personal stakes of a career move and guides candidates toward opportunities where they will genuinely thrive. For law firms, she is a discerning partner who identifies talent that fits a firm’s culture, practice needs, and long-term goals. In short, Krista understands what firms seek, what attorneys value, and what makes a placement succeed.

Krista launched her recruiting career at Major, Lindsey & Africa where she first placed associates and partners at top-ranked Am Law firms and highly regarded regional practices while delivering candid, consultative career advice at every step. She has spoken at law schools, including UCLA and USC, and to professional associations, including LAALRA and OCALRA, co-authored a published Daily Journal article, and earned MLA’s Excellence in Client Service Award.

Her most recent practice experience is with a boutique firm, serving as outside general counsel to California community associations, advising their boards of directors and managers on compliance, risk management, common interest ownership, fair housing, and corporate governance. Earlier in her career, she managed commercial, product liability, and real estate litigation at Holland & Knight and at Orange County-based Stradling.

A native Southern Californian, Krista has two teenage daughters and spends her free time paddle boarding, playing tennis, road tripping, and romping (ok cuddling) with her doodles.
